Jacob Fishman's various musical endeavors have lead him to the current ManFish project. With a flair of psychedelia, ManFish explores the joining of modern audio production and their traditional music education. Influenced by the likes of Domi and JD Beck, Madlib and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Jacob draws on a wide range of sound in the hopes to create groove forward beats with impressionist sampling in accompany. As a fan of the concept album, ManFish's primary purpose is to eventually utilize audio and visual medians to create narrative driven musical works. As for now, Jacob continues to hone in on the coveted sound he hopes to achieve. The ManFish project aside, Jacob finds passion in writing and is one of the founders of the Colorado Audio Technology Society. Originally a club formed in college, CATS has sprung its roots post-graduation with the goals of accessible and community oriented music education.
