Born & raised in middle Tennessee, Ben Retersdorf, also known as Doug Ferrari, started drawing and painting in high school, although he did not start pursuing it professionally until about 2014.

Over the years, however, one thing has stayed consistent. He has always tried to create a feeling of depth and dimension into his paintings.

"All of my paintings are inspired by our bio-chemical world. I paint just about everyday for as long as I can these days. I hope to continue painting long until the day I'm done, it truly is a craft that you will continue to sharpen through the years to come.
