Shreztah Unleashes Genre-Bending “AcidJungleTechnoStep” EP
Written by: Dan Warren
Over the last four years, the Mid Atlantic’s DMV region has quickly blossomed into a hotbed for talented producers covering a wide range of genres. Names like crawdad sniper, Athena, Togeki, and Eyezic have gained national recognition from some of the biggest names in the industry for presenting something fresh and pushing their respective sounds to new heights. Another name from this region that you need to start paying attention to is Washington, D.C.-based Shreztah. This week, he is back with a brand new EP titled AcidJungleTechnoStep.
Shreztah has a unique ability to weave through different eras of underground rave and sound system culture, fusing classic warehouse sounds from the ‘90s with modern, low-end bass music. His compositions feature a wide variety of styles — from old school breaks and jungle to acid, techno and dubstep — creating an encapsulating vibe on the dance floor.

Shreztah has performed at some stellar events over the last few years, including Sound Haven, Autumn Revival, Fire Lights Music & Art Festival, Big Dub, Nightmare Fest, and more. Having also supported prominent names like Ganja White Night, Visages, Boys Noize, Mindset, and others, it’s clear that Shreztah’s sound is able to fit seamlessly within a broad range of settings and lineups.
Earlier this year, we were excited to feature Shreztah’s Unreleased ID Mix as part of our round up of 2025 showcase mixes. Shreztah’s productions have graced popular underground labels such as Aspire Higher, The Gradient Perspective, Subciety Presents, SUM R&R, Para Presents, and more. He even has his own radio show on the first Wednesday of every month with UK-based Subtle Radio. Be sure to check out some of the episodes on their SoundCloud!
Outside of his solo project, Shreztah has also embarked on a new collab side project called “Outhear” with fellow D.C.-based hitmaker, Togeki. So far in 2025, this project has played direct support for Taiki Nulight at Flash in D.C. and headlined Afterfly in Delaware.

There is certainly a lot to be excited about regarding Shreztah’s production and his latest AcidJungleTechnoStep EP is living proof of that. The AcidJungleTechnoStep EP combines all of Shreztah’s favorite genres into three distinct tracks that pack a serious punch. Jumping into the first track, “Acid Stepper,” it becomes known right away that Shreztah is not messing around. The way he is able to combine several styles into a sound system-ready banger is so impressive.
The second track, “Analog Dread,” continues this theme with insane acid flow and addictive breaks in which you won’t want this track to end. The AcidJungleTechnoStep EP closes with “Run It Back.” What makes this EP so enjoyable is how Shreztah is able to present three unique tracks while also sticking to a common theme. This EP is 100% all-Shreztah, from the production, to the mastering, to even the artwork! The AcidJungleTechnoStep EP is brilliantly fresh; it is recommended that you play this on your finest sound system.

We look forward to following Shreztah’s journey and can’t wait to hear what’s next from the talented D.C.-based producer. Be sure to give Shreztah a follow across socials and stream the AcidJungleTechnoStep EP below (also available for free download on SoundCloud!).
